AzerGold donates to YASHAT foundation

AzerGold Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) has donated funds to YASHAT Foundation, established upon the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev to support the families of the wounded and martyrs who fought for the protection of our territorial integrity. AzerGold CJSC’s Corporate Social Responsibility Committee has decided to donate a total of AZN 300,000 per year, i.e AZN 25,000 per month. Thus, the funds allocated for month January were transferred to the Foundation’s account.

The donation made as part of the Company’s Social Impact and Responsibility Policy not only supports the social protection programs of the families of the martyrs and the wounded, but also caters to the needs of such families.

It is worth noting that 8 staff members of the Company were enlisted in the army in the Patriotic War, which resulted in a glorious victory. Senior lieutenant Mukhtar Gasimli and Senior lieutenant Rauf Asgarov rose to the peak of martyrdom in the battles for the liberation of Fizuli region. AzerGold proudly commemorates all our servicemen martyred in the Patriotic War, expresses condolences to their families and relatives, and wishes quick recovery and health to the wounded.
