6 days left until the expiry of admission stage of “Pearls of Karabakh”

The coin design competition jointly established by “AzerGold” Closed Joint Stock Company and Haydar Aliyev Center continues successfully. The Admission Stage of the competition will end after six days, on February 1.

More than 400 design samples have been submitted to the competition aimed at increasing the variety of solutions for Azerbaijani gold coin designs, raising the awareness of the brilliant victory of our triumphant army under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, and the historical and cultural values of Karabakh.

At the next stage, the jury made up of well-known specialists, designers and artists of the country will evaluate designs against 4 criteria – aesthetic appearance, conceptual theme, uniqueness and applicability on a 100-point system with a 25 score each.

The top three winners will be awarded with certificates and money (1st place 3000 AZN, 2nd place 2000 AZN, 3rd place 1000 AZN). Besides, all the projects submitted to the competition will be put to online voting on www.azergold.gift. The project with the most votes will be announced the winner in the "Audience Sympathy" nomination, and the winner will get 1000 AZN award.

It is worth noting that new gold coins with no face value will be produced based on the design samples selected as the winner of the competition.
