Agreement signed on mining cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UAE

On September 14 a document-signing ceremony was held in the presence of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
During the ceremony, several documents were signed covering cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UAE in renewable energy, investment, digital infrastructure and artificial intelligence, gas and other areas.
One of the documents signed was the "Agreement between AzerGold Closed Joint Stock Company and Terra Mining Ltd on the joint assessment and exploration of mineral resource potential and mining fields in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of the Republic of Azerbaijan".
The document was signed by Zakir Ibrahimov, Chairman of the Executive Board of AzerGold CJSC, and Ali Rashid Al-Rashdi, Chief Executive Officer of International Resources Holding (IRH).
It should be noted, Terra Mining Ltd is a subsidiary of International Resources Holding (IRH).
