An agreement on the joint development of a gold deposit has been signed between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan

On June 16, documents were signed between the two countries with the participation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov—who is on a working visit to the country at the invitation of the Uzbek side to attend the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum—and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov.
The signed documents included an agreement entailing the joint development of a gold deposit in Uzbekistan with the participation of "AzerGold" CJSC.
The document was signed by Zakir Ibrahimov, Chairman of the Executive Board of "AzerGold" CJSC, and Feruza Hamidova, First Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
