AzerGold announces another scholarship program for undergraduates

"AzerGold" Closed Joint Stock Company (CJSC) announces another Scholarship program contest for undergraduates studying mining engineering.

The scholarship, established with the view of providing the Company’s strategic projects with the required personnel on time, will be awarded upon contest launched among students of higher education institutions operating in Azerbaijan. Senior students who are citizens of Azerbaijan and are studying full-time in the fields of mining engineering, geology and metallurgy of the bachelor's and master's level for the 2022-2023 academic year can join the contest. The contest consists of two stages - a written test and an interview.

During the evaluation by the scholarship commission, the 20 candidates who score the highest points in the test will proceed to the interview stage. At the next stage, each candidate will be evaluated according to the relevant criteria. In the end, 10 students who successfully clear the contest will be involved in the Scholarship program, and each will receive an award and a scholarship in the amount of 200 AZN per month during 9 months. Students participating in the program will be able to join the internship programs at the Joint-Stock Company and get jobs in relevant positions after graduation.

To participate in the contest, fill out the application form in the mentioned subsection. The contest starts upon the publication of the announcement (July 15, 2022) on the website. The deadline is July 31, 2022.

Notably, AzerGold has awarded scholarships to 9 undergraduates of higher education institutions, and 18 students studying at vocational education institutions, for the 2021-2022 academic year.
