AzerGold CJSC hosts press conference on the results of 2020

AzerGold Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) hosted a press conference on the activities of last year, the achievements in 2020 and the tasks ahead.

Speaking at the event, the Chairman of the Executive Board Zakir Ibrahimov noted that, despite the limitations and difficulties experienced last year due to the pandemic, AzerGold ended 2020 with great success. Zakir Ibrahimov laid emphasis on the fact that the Company was progressing ahead of aschedule and carried out more work than planned in the areas of activity. The actions aimed at launching new mines in the regions, increasing economic efficiency continued successfully last year. Referring to AzerGold’s profit in the previous year, the Chairman emphasized that as a result of 4-year operation, the CJSC has become one of the leaders in the non-oil sector of the country.

Besides, the Chairman spoke about the tasks ahead, the projects to be implemented, and gave detailed information about the areas undergoing operational preparation work. In addition, the activities of the Company in the field of health, occupational safety, environmental policy, corporate social responsibility and other areas were widely discussed at the press conference.
