AzerGold CJSC’s Next Commemorative Coin to Be Dedicated to Lachin

AzerGold CJSC will produce a new commemorative coin dedicated to Lachin, a city with ancient and rich history and enchanting nature.

The new coin’s design features elements of Lachin’s rich cultural heritage, traditional craftsmanship, and folk art — the Gasimushaghi carpet patterns, attributed to the Karabakh carpet weaving school.

The central element of the coin is the eight-pointed star, an inseparable part of Azerbaijan’s state symbols.

The Lachin coin is the 13th one to be produced by AzerGold CJSC.
