AzerGold CJSC Minted Gold and Silver Coins in 3 Designs in 2023

In 2023, AzerGold Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) successfully continued its activity in the jewelry market. The goal is to promote our national-cultural and historical-spiritual values through coins while keeping in mind the jewelry market development.

Thus, last year, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in our country, the Joint-Stock Company first produced and presented a limited edition of unique gold coins called ‘100 Years and a Legacy Beyond That,’ minted based on the Smartminting technology, which is considered a revolutionary innovation in the field of modern numismatics. The Smartminting technology allowed for giving a 3D relief to a 999.9-carat gold coin.

A gold coin was also minted on the occasion of the 600th anniversary of Uzun Hasan, the ruler of Aq Qoyunlu state, who occupied a special place in the centuries-old history of Azerbaijani statehood. Herewith, a silver coin was minted and presented to the public on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the UN Special Program for the Economies of Central Asian Countries - SPECA.
