The Memory of AzerGold CJSC’s Employees Who Died in the Patriotic War was Commemorated

On the occasion of September 27 - Remembrance Day, the management and staff of AzerGold Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) and its subsidiaries Dashkasan Iron Ore LLC and AzerBlast LLC visited in Baku and Ganja the graves of CJSC’s employees Mukhtar Gasimli and Rauf Asgarov who died in the Patriotic War.
The visitors honored with deep respect the dear memory of the martyrs and laid floral tributes in front of their graves.
It should be noted that AzerGold CJSC’s security officer Mukhtar Gasimli participated in the heavy battles for the Fuzuli region, and the Head of the Generator Sector of the Construction, Repair, and Energy Department Rauf Asgarov - in the battles for the Fuzuli and Khojavand regions. Senior Lieutenants Mukhtar Gasimli and Rauf Asgarov fought heroically and were killed, respectively, in the Alkhanli and Mardinli villages of the Fuzuli region on October 2 and 26, 2020.
It should be noted that by the appropriate orders of Mr. President Ilham Aliyev, Mukhtar Gasimli got posthumous medals ‘For the Motherland’ and ‘For the Liberation of Fuzuli’, and Rauf Asgarov – ‘For the Motherland’, ‘For Distinction in Battle’, and ‘For the Liberation of Fuzuli’ for their courage and bravery during the liberation of Azerbaijani territories from occupation.
