Environmental campaign organized in Dashkasan district

AzerGold CJSC, Dashkasan Iron Ore LLC, the Dashkasan district Executive Authority, and the Dashkasan City Communal Services Enterprise organized a new environmental campaign in the Dashkasan district.

The clean-up campaign, held in the village of Zagaly, involved cleaning nearly 10 hectares of land from plastic, polyethylene, metal, glass, paper, cardboard, and other types of waste. In addition, weeds in the area were mowed. The collected solid waste was sorted and directed for recycling.

It should be noted that, as a state company that effectively represents the country’s mining industry, “AzerGold” CJSC actively participates in initiatives to protect the environment.

The company organizes its operations in the extraction and production sectors in accordance with local and international environmental standards, while also implementing consistent and systematic ecological projects and awareness-raising activities in the region.
