The Winners of AzerGold CJSC’s Next Scholarship Program Were Awarded

The winners of the 3rd Scholarship Program contest announced by AzerGold Closed Joint Stock Company (CJSC) for higher and vocational education institutions have been determined.

On January 11, the ceremony of awarding the winners of the contest for higher and vocational education was held, respectively, at AzerGold CJSC’s head office in Baku and the Chovdar Integrated Regional Processing Area in Dashkasan.

10 students of higher and 8 students of vocational educational institutions were awarded scholarships for the 2023-2024 academic year in the contests held to timely ensure the joint-stock company’s strategic projects with the required staff. AzerGold CJSC’s management awarded certificates to those who successfully passed the test and interview.

Each student involved in the program will receive a monthly scholarship of AZN 200 for 9 months. Under the program, the students will also pass an internship at the Joint-Stock Company, and after graduation, their employment to appropriate jobs will be considered.

It should be noted that the Higher Education Scholarship Program contest was arranged for students who are citizens of Azerbaijan and have been studying full-time for bachelor's and master's degrees in the last years. In contrast to previous years, this year, along with mining engineering, geology, and metallurgy, those studying ecology, chemical engineering, electrical and energy engineering, etc. also participated in the contest.

The Vocational Education Scholarship Program contest was arranged for the students of the Ganja State Vocational Education Center for Industry and Technologies. Students admitted to this Vocational Education Center after the full secondary education for the academic year 2023-2024 to study mining, laying and repair of power lines, and electric gas welding participated in the contest.

It should be noted that over the past 3 years, the number of higher and vocational education students – the Scholarship Program contest participants reached, respectively, 949 and 204. To date, 28 higher and 35 vocational education students have been awarded AzerGold’s scholarship.
