Online voting launched for "Pearls of Karabakh" coin design competition

The design projects submitted to the “Pearls of Karabakh” coin design competition established by AzerGold Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) and the Heydar Aliyev Center were evaluated by the jury.

The jury included Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board Khayyam Farzaliyev, Advisor to the Director of the Heydar Aliyev Center Emin Mammadov, Director General of the Central Bank Akshin Valiyev, People's Artist Arif Huseynov, Honored Artist Natig Farajullzadeh, an employee of the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Philosophy in History Sanubar Gasimova, as well as designers-artists - Nariman Mammadzadeh, Farid Rasulov, Rahim Ismayilov and Chingiz Ismayilov.

195 design projects out of 887 submitted to the competition were nominated for the final and the winners of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places were selected on the basis of aesthetic appearance, conceptual theme, uniqueness and applicability.

Notably, the last phase of the competition - online voting - starts at 00:00 on February 12. Voting platform will last until 00:00 on February 15 on www.azergold.gift. The design with the most votes will receive " Audience Sympathy " nomination. All winners will be announced on February 17 at the award ceremony, which will take place in the administrative building of AzerGold CJSC.

Notably, the competition dedicated to the brilliant victory of our triumphant army under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev aims to raise awareness of the ancient history, culture, intangible cultural heritages of Karabakh.

The top three winners of the competition will be awarded with certificates and money (1st place 3000 AZN, 2nd place 2000 AZN, 3rd place 1000 AZN). Moreover, the winner in the "Audience Sympathy" nomination will get 1000 AZN award.
