Seminar on Anti-Corruption Awareness at AzerGold CJSC

AzerGold CJSC held an awareness seminar on Ensuring Compliance in the Fight against Corruption for its employees.

The seminar was aimed at ensuring necessary measures within the National Action Plan for Strengthening the Fight against Corruption for 2022 – 2026. The event focused on promoting the development of an anti-corruption culture, increase awareness in this sphere, and strengthen intolerance toward corruption. It brought together employees from the Company’s head office and all structural departments.

During the seminar, trainers presented AzerGold CJSC’s anti-corruption policy to the participants. Detailed information was provided on the negative impact of corruption, the importance of the fight against corruption, and effective methods of prevention. Discussions were held based on both local and international best practices and case studies.

The seminar also covered the ongoing efforts to boost awareness and improve the effectiveness of initiatives in the field of anti-corruption. Additionally, upcoming planned activities were shared with participants. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session.

It should be noted that the National Action Plan for Strengthening the Fight against Corruption for 2022 – 2026, approved by Presidential Decree No. 3199 dated April 4, 2022, aims to further enhance transparency in public institutions, avoid corruption, and ensure the sustainability of anti-corruption efforts. The implementation of the measures outlined in the Action Plan forms an integral part of Azerbaijan’s targeted and resolute policy in the fight against corruption, contributing to transparency and application of effective control mechanisms within public institutions.
