AzerGold CJSC announces the next edition of its Scholarship Programme competition for university students pursuing studies in the mining sector.

The scholarship, established to ensure the timely provision of qualified personnel for the Company’s strategic projects, will be awarded on a competitive basis among students of higher education institutions operating in Azerbaijan.

The competition is open to Azerbaijani citizens who, during the 2026–2027 academic year, are full-time final-year bachelor’s or master’s students in mining engineering, geology, chemical engineering, or metallurgy.

The competition consists of two stages: a written test and an interview. Based on the assessment conducted by the Scholarship Commission, the 20 candidates achieving the highest scores in the test will proceed to the interview stage.

At the next stage, each candidate’s level of preparation will be assessed in accordance with the relevant evaluation criteria. Ultimately, 10 students who successfully complete the competition will be admitted to the Scholarship Programme. Each successful participant will receive a respective certificate of recognition and a monthly scholarship of 200 AZN throughout the academic year.

Students participating in the Programme will also have the opportunity to take part in internship programmes at the Company and, upon graduation, may be considered for employment in relevant positions, if the applicable requirements are met.
